Lanie is a writer and director based in Los Angeles. She also works as a creative producer with other filmmakers and creative agencies.
She has an extensive film career as a producer, writer and director working on film sets around the world. She has collaborated with some of the world's leading brands, music acts and creative teams including Apple, Microsoft, KSHMR, Maiah Manser, The L'Oreal Group, L Brands' Victoria's Secret and Bath & Body Works, Nordstrom, and the NFL's Seattle Seahawks. As a director, she specializes in blending live action and VFX to create imagery that exudes surrealism. And as a writer/producer she focuses on human interest pieces exploring the cycle of trauma and how people communicate specifically in close relationships.
Lanie has a Bachelor's degree in Strategic Communications with a focus in Film from Seattle University and a Graduate Certificate from the Professional Program for Producing from UCLA's Film and Television Graduate School.
At a very young age, Lanie learned vital skills from many successful global business leaders who were patrons on the horse show jumping circuit. Lanie grew up riding show jumping horses for her family's farm and other notable horse trainers on the west coast. Growing up on the road from horse show to horse show has made her extremely adept at working on fast-paced and demanding productions.
